National rose show from tomorrow in Vijayawada
Rose Society of Andhra Pradesh in association with Harita Priya Plant Lovers Society and Vijayawada Municipal Corporation is conducting national rose show from December 23 to 25 at Swarajya Maidan. Delegates from 22 states are participating in a three-day rose show. Â

Potted flower plants, cactus, fruit and vegetable plants, bonsai plants, miniature garden, cut flowers and medicinal plants will be showcased in the mega event. Over 120 stalls will be arranged for the rose show where a wide variety of roses will be put on display. Roses from Kadiyam, Bengaluru and other places will be brought to Vijayawada to mark the occasion.
The organisers are making elaborate arrangements for the successful conduct of the three-day event, said Municipal Commissioner J Nivas on Thursday. He said flower and tree lovers can attend the show and enjoy watching variety of flowers and plants. Technical seminars and cultural programmes will be arranged and two food courts will be set up for the convenience of visitors.
