He expressed unhappiness with progress of bankers regarding payment of insurance to farmers even after release of funds. He vented his ire at Andhra Pradesh Gramina Vikas Bank (APGVB) officials for their poor performance in sanctioning of loans. The Minister directed Lead Bank district manager P Venkateswara Rao to provide list of beneficiaries under MUDRA loan scheme.

He alleged that bankers are not providing loans under MUDRA for needy. Minister directed Collector K Dhanunjaya Reddy, project director for District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Dr GC Kishore Kumar to prepare a plan to provide loans to self-help group (SHG) women. The Collector directed the bankers to provide loans totenant farmers through Joint Liability Groups (JLG).

Bankers provided only Rs 7 crore as loans for tenant farmers though its target is Rs 150 crore. Zilla Parishad Chairperson Ch Dhanalakshmi, MLAs GSS Sivaji, B Ramana Murthy, NABARD district manager M Vasudevan, Andhra Bank zonal manager P Radhakrishna and RBI special officer for Srikakulam K Balasubramanyam. Joint directors for animal husbandry and agriculture Metta Venkateswarlu, GRama Rao and banking officials were present.
