3 batallions to come up in state

Kadapa: Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) Director General R K Meena on Friday said that 3 battalions are going to set up in CRDA of Amaravati , Tirupati and Polavaram. Speaking to media at Bakarapeta while participating in development works, he said in view of providing quality training to constables, the government has decided to establish more battalions at several places in the state.

To provide quality education to police staff children, a digital library will be set up in Kadapa district. On the occasion, the DG has laid foundation stone for the construction of petrol bunk, inaugurated Commandant Bungalow, RSI staff quarters and planted a mango sapling in the premises of 11 battalion at Bakarapet.
