Chandrababu Recalls His Struggle To bring IT Companies To Hyderabad
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu recalled the challenges and struggles he encountered to bring in IT companies to Hyderabad during his rule between 1996 and 2004 in the then united AP.

Holding State Investment Promotion Board meeting in Amaravathi, Chandrababu told the officials he faced several hardships in attracting IT investments in Hyderabad as officials had any idea about IT and its business prospects in the state.
The CM said he used to hold marathon meetings with the investors by inviting them to his residence. Since there is no information avilable, he harped on reports published in the media on IT sector. During his tenure, only a single official was monitored the IT sector from the government. Chandrababu said he was also instrumental in bringing Emirate Airways services to Hyderabad.
