Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, he said that it is time for BCs, SCs and STs to grab the power. He wanted a third political platform to gain power in the state and wished a Kapu becomes the Chief Minister in next elections.

He said that as a public representative, he strived for the development of his constituency and people. He found fault with the local representatives of Ongole for not working for the interest of people.

The former Congress MP invited the attention of BCs, SCs and STs in the state and country and asked them to come together to fight against the upper caste politics. He demanded that the intellectuals in the BCs, SCs and STs should become an alternative to the present upper caste dominated politics.

He said that the people in the TDP and YSRCP have enjoyed enough power and it is the time for the others grabs it. He advised YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy to stop padayatra for power and suggested to wait for a few more years as he is still a young man.
