Congress will form govt at Centre in 2019, predicts Rudra Raju

Kakinada: The BJP is trying to distance the Congress Party from the people, said APCC general secretary and former MLC Gidugu Rudra Raju here on Friday.
Addressing a press conference at the district Congress party office, he said that the verdict of the CBI court on the alleged 2G scam, has removed the stain on the UPA government.
He further said that through its propaganda against the UPA government over the 2G scam, the BJP tried to tarnish the image of the Congress party among people.
He said the verdict provided an answer to the baseless allegations levelled by BJP leaders against the previous Congress-led UPA government at the Centre.
He said the people were closely watching the bad propaganda of the BJP, Bajrang Dal and Shiv Sena against the Congress. Rudra Raju exuded confidence that the Congress will form its government at the Centre in 2019.
DCC President Pantam Nanaji said that only the Congress Party is capable of forming a stable government at the Centre. He further said that under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress would regain its earlier strength.
Later, the Congress leaders distributed sweets hailing the CBI court verdict. Congress leaders Pantam Indira, Nurukurthi Venkateswara Rao and others attended the press conference.
