Amaravati: The aim of Janmabhoomi–MaaVooru is creating awareness among the rural public on government’s welfare schemes and development programmes, says Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during a review meeting held at Secretariat at Velagapudi in Guntur district on Saturday.

Chief Minister directed the officials to celebrate the 10 days JBMV as a festival in all villages and urban areas.
The government will honour the best farmers during the JBMV. The officials were directed to organise 5-K run at all the district and mandal head-quarters and alsoin all the 175 Assembly constituencies.

The officials were directed to create dedicated portals and social media accounts at every village, Assembly constituency and district level, during the JBMV celebrations. Naidu instructed the officials to update the data on Web Portal, related to social infrastructure facilities provided by the government in the Gram Panchayats in the State.

He added that the targets and achievements of providing infrastructure facilities, welfare schemes, family and social welfare status and other data should be uploaded on the webportal. Appreciating the Panchayat Raj department for selection of 33 Gram Panchayats from AP in the best villages of the country, out of the 83 announced under Mission Antyodaya, he stated that all the welfare schemes of government should reach nook and corner in the State.

The Chief Ministeradvised the officials to focus on 10 different issues during the ten-day JanmaBhoomi-MaaVooru. He announced that the State government will dedicate 5 lakh farm ponds to the nation during the JBMV. He urged AP NRIs to participate in the JBMV on a massive scale to make it successful and help in developing their respective villages.
