Top 10 Best Panchayats Selected From AP This Year
As many as 33 local bodies in Andhra Pradesh have been selected best Panchayats . Union Ministry of Rural Development announced the best panchayats based on a study conducted this year. The study took basic infrastructure facilities, economic activity and human resources as main parameters in the selection process. Â

While the first rank was given to a Panchayat in Telangana, the remaining top ten panchayats were selected from Andhra Pradesh.
Parapatla from Chittoor district click cheddar second best Panchayat, followed by Chidikada ( Visakhapatnam) and Kajuluru (East Godavari), Ungaturu ( Krishna) and Eguva Tavanampalli in Chittoor district occupied fourth position.
Indupalli in Krishna district ranked fifth, Mahal in Chittoor and Bucharla in Anantapur district adjudged sixth position. Four each panchayats got seventh and eight ranks, five panchayats got ninth ranks and eight panchayats were selected 10 th position in the top 10 Panchayats in the country.
