AP government will provide best infrastructure to encourage sports: Minister

The Andhra Pradesh government will promote sports in a big way by creating the best infrastructure, said AP Minister Prathipati Pullarao on Sunday. Pullarao along with Minister Nakka Anandababu flagged off Sports Meet 2017-18 that is being organised by Kammajana Seva Samithi at NTR stadium in Guntur. Â Â
Guntur: The Andhra Pradesh government will promote sports in a big way by creating the best infrastructure, said AP Minister Prathipati Pullarao on Sunday. Pullarao along with Minister Nakka Anandababu flagged off Sports Meet 2017-18 that is being organised by Kammajana Seva Samithi at NTR stadium in Guntur.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Pullarao encouraged youth to draw inspiration from ace shuttler and Olympic medal winner PV Sindhu. The state government would provide best infrastructure for sports on par with education, he said.
It may be recalled that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu appointed PV Sindhu as Deputy Collector for her efforts in bringing laurels to Telugu states by winning silver medal in Rio Olympics.
