Central team to visit Kadapa dist tomorrow
A three-member central team will be visiting the district on December 26 and 27 to inspect the culverts and streams in the district. The team consists of B K Srivastava, Director of Union Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Ministry, S K Singh, Regional Officer of Road Transport National Highways Ministry and Vivek Bharadwaj, Joint Secretary of Union Home Ministry (Police Modernisation Division).
Kadapa: A three-member central team will be visiting the district on December 26 and 27 to inspect the culverts and streams in the district. In this connection, it may be noted that most of the water sources in the district do not contain adequate storage of water.According to the District Collector T Babu Naidu, the central team will reach Kadapa district by road from Chittoor district on Dec 26 evening. They would stay at the State Guest House on 26th night.
On 27 morning, they would inspect the CC Road at Pushpagiri village, culverts at Chapadu and Velikallu villages of Khajipet madnal. Later they would interact with the farmers. The team will also inspect damaged panchayat roads at Gudur and Chinnakottala villages. They will leave to
Vijayawada the same day.
