Kakinada: In a shocking incident, a man hacked his wife to death suspecting her fidelity at Chelluru village of Rayavaram mandal in East Godavari district on Sunday.
According to the police, 32-year-old Kandivalasa Venkata Ramana was married to Alivelu 10 year ago. The family shifted to Hyderabad for a livelihood. However, the couple realised that their business was not giving much profits. So they returned to their native village of Chelluru. The couple also have two children after the marriage.
Over the past a few months, Venkata Ramana had been alleging that his wife had an extra marital affair with another person. On Sunday, he picked a fight with her over the issue. In fit of rage, Ramana smashed her head with a boulder and fled from the place. The police registered a case against him and launched a man hunt to nab him.
