Tirupati: Churches in city were illuminated colourfully to welcome Christmas. On the eve of Christmas on Sunday, Christians thronged to various churches in large numbers to offer prayers.
As the Christamas eve and Sunday were coincided, apart from churches shopping centres were also witnessed huge crowds. Bakeries were flooded with people to buy cakes. Several Christians lighted candles to offer prayers at churches and getting ready to offer mid night prayers as well. Several people also decorated their houses with Stars and Christmas trees.
