Woman kills husband over property row
A wife killed her husband in connection with property dispute on Sunday late night at Korasavada village in Pathapatnam mandal. According to Pathapatnam Circle Inspector BSS Prakash, the deceased was identified as Purnachandra Panigrahi, 50.

According to Pathapatnam Circle Inspector BSS Prakash, the deceased was identified as Purnachandra Panigrahi, 50. The accused Kunthala Panigrahi alias Suhasini is a niece of Purnachandra and was married him 20 years ago.
The couple was blessed with a daughter who is pursuing class-IX. Disputes relating to ancestral property started among wife and husband five years ago and they lodged complaints with police previously over the matter. They had been living separately in the house for the last three years by constructing a wall.
According to villagers, on Sunday late night, the couple had an argument over property and in a fit of rage Kunthala hit her husband with an iron rod on his head.
