Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology, Duvvada, organised a mega Human Resources (HR) meet at its campus in association with Society for Human Resources Development (SHRD) on Monday. Many HR professionals and directors from reputed companies from across the country participated in the meet.

Visakhapatnam: Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology, Duvvada, organised a mega Human Resources (HR) meet at its campus in association with Society for Human Resources Development (SHRD) on Monday. Many HR professionals and directors from reputed companies from across the country participated in the meet.

The panellists of the meet are Deepak Jindal, IVS Ranganath, KV Sitaram Sastry and Pragathi Kumar Achanta and moderated by Dakshina Murthy. The topic of the discussion is “How to bridge the gap between industry and academia.”

The panellist gave their views and interacted with students by answering their questions and guided them in the right direction. In the post-lunch session, a second panel of discussion conducted on the topic “Future skills required for career sustenance.”

The HR directors addressed the students and emphasised the important of soft skills to be developed like creativity, emotional quotient, intuition, analytical mind and inclusive mindset. The programme was attended by Vice Chairman of Vignan Lavu Krishna Deva Raya, Principals and over 2,000 students from colleges.
