Aiming to showcase the giant buildings as a big achievement in the creation of new capital city in 2019 elections , Andhra Pradesh government began the construction works under  second phase capital city in  Amaravathi. It is expected the construction will be completed by 2018 end. 

Aiming to showcase the giant buildings as a big achievement in the creation of new capital city in 2019 elections , Andhra Pradesh government began the construction works under second phase capital city in Amaravathi. It is expected the construction will be completed by 2018 end.

Under second phase, the Andhra Pradesh government has taken up the construction of 3,840 apartments for IAS, IPS, Legislators and Secretariat staff. In all, the works for 61 towers were already kick-started. However, the government maintained it a low key affair.

The towers will provide accommodation to bureaucrats, judges and heads of government departments. The infrastructure development works like road network, drainage and electricity were also taken up parallelly. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will display the construction his government's efforts in realising the capital city in next elections.
