Chandrababu Naidu inaugurates musical fountain, laser show
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the integrated musical water fountain and laser show at Bhavani Island in River Krishna on Monday night.
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the integrated musical water fountain and laser show at Bhavani Island in River Krishna on Monday night.
He also laid foundation for various developmental works. He launched the laser show and watched it for some time. The tourism department installed the laser show by spending Rs 16 crore. The inaugural session of the show featured the history of Vijayawada.
It depicts how the goddess Durga fought demon for protecting the people. The epic story was displayed on water screens with colourful illumination. The inaugural show impressed the viewers including Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister and minister for tourism Akhila Priya and several officials were present. On the occasion, Naidu said that the Amaravati capital city would be the destination for world tourism. The tourism would be a main source of income and employment opportunities in the state.
