IndiGo Airlines to operate flights to Vijayawada from next year

IndiGo Airlines will be operating direct flights to Vijayawada from March 2, next year making it the 50th destination on its network.

The airline in a statement said that IndiGo will operate daily direct operations connecting Vijayawada to Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Last week IndiGo’s ATR operations were launched with its brand new ATR 72-600 connecting Hyderabad and Mangalore. Now, the new destination, Vijayawada is part of the airline’s ATR operations.

Having become the first Indian carrier to touch 1000 flights a day recently, IndiGo will even commence operations from Rajahmundry and Tirupati in January next year
