Nellore: A second year degree student, P Shruthi (19) committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Gudur on Tuesday. She took extreme step as her lover was ignoring her.
According to sources, Shruthi, a resident of Court Centre in Narasingaraopeta in Gudur was the student of DR Women’s Degree College. She had love affair with a local boy in the same town, who was studying in Jaipur.
Shruthi was upset as her lover was showing interest in another girl and ignoring her. She hanged herself with her dupatta in the house in the morning hours. Parents found her hanging to the ceiling and immediately shifted her to the local hospital where the doctors declared brought dead. Gudur II Town Police registered a case.
