Srikakulam: Government whip Kuna Ravikumar assured that the TDP government led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will resolve the long-pending fishermen demand of including them in ST category.
He visited fishermen hunger stir camp at Srikakulam on Tuesday and expressed solidarity to their agitation. “Government is seriously thinking over the issue to settle it legally and to provide justice to fishermen,” he said. Fishermen union leaders Ch Suryanarayana, M Palgunaraju and others participated.
