Central team inspects damaged roads, crops
The Central team consisting of Vivek Bharadwaj, BK Srivastava, SK Singh and K Sivasankara Rao visited Chittoor district to inspect damaged roads and crops. They went around Varadaiahpalem, Satyavedu and Puttur mandals and inspected various roads at Nallaturu, Gudalavaripalem, Rallakuppam and other places.
Tirupati: The Central team consisting of Vivek Bharadwaj, BK Srivastava, SK Singh and K Sivasankara Rao visited Chittoor district to inspect damaged roads and crops. They went around Varadaiahpalem, Satyavedu and Puttur mandals and inspected various roads at Nallaturu, Gudalavaripalem, Rallakuppam and other places.
MLC G Muddukrishnama Naidu met the Central team at R&B guest house in Puttur and appraised them the severity of road damages. He told them, the farmers in the district lost hundreds of acres due to heavy rains and the Central team has to recommend the compensation generously on humanitarian grounds.
Joint Collector-2 V Chandramouli, R&B SE Ranganatham, Panchayat Raj DE Krishna Reddy and other officials have accompanied the team. Later, they reached Chittoor and met District Collector PS Pradyumna and had discussions with him before proceeding to Kadapa district. In view of the serious condition of these roads, the district authorities and people are eager to know about the recommendations of the Central team.
