He was credited with introducing many courses like MA, M Phil and PhD. As part of the felicitation, he was honoured with a huge garland and presented with a shawl.
Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachara Sabha president Obaiah, assistant director Sankar Singh, HoD Manjunath and Hindi Vidyalaya principals from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Telangana took part in the felicitation function.
