Officials told to fill summer storage tank of Chintakunta
BJP Kisan Morcha district president Naveen Kishore inspected summer storage tank at Chintakunta village in Halaharvi mandal on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said drinking water couldn’t be supplied properly to Halaharvi, Chippagiri and Aluru mandal villages because the tank is not being filled to its capacity. “Water is being supplied once in 10 to 15 days.

Although there is water in the Tungabhadra Low Level Canal, water couldn’t be pumped because of defective and shortage of motors,” he added. When officials concerned were questioned on the issue, they in turn blamed sapanches.
The BJP leader demanded filling of the tank immediately. He warned officials concerned that they had to face severe consequences from people if they fail to fill the tank. BJP leaders Chidananda, Nagappa and activists accompanied Naveen.
