TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy flays NDA Govt for not granting special status

Anantapur TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy raised the issue of special category status lamenting that the BJP-led NDA government failed to fulfil promises incorporated in the AP Reorganisation Act.

Mentioning that the BJP can pass bills in the Parliament without any support from the NDA allies, JC Diwakar Reddy opined that the BJP is not giving importance to political parties including TDP which are part of NDA alliance.

He said that the Modi government was not able to grant Special Category Status, railway zone, and steel plant to Andhra Pradesh.

However, the TDP MP lauded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for obtaining funds from the Centre to some extent.
