Congress senior leader and former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar shared his assessment over the upcoming polls in the Andhra Pradesh state.

In a latest interview to a TV channel, the Congress leader predicted that the BJP and TDP parties are likely to go for a collaboration considering the recent Gujarat poll results.
He predicted that BJP will not win the elections in the Sourthern states and It will join hands with the TDP again in the 2019 elections.
"The decision will be taken by BJP higher officials according to their situation by the time of the elections. BJP high command is also thinking about going solo. If the election is organised for Parliament and Assembly simultaneously, there are more chances for a friendship between the two parties but it might change if the elections are not organised in a simultaneous fashion." said Undavalli.
He further said that major transformations in politics will be witnessed depending on the result of 2018 Assembly elections.
Except Karnataka, there is no chance for BJP to earn a survival in the other four South states, he predicted.
