Devotees visiting Tirumala have been facing severe inconvenience due to heavy rush on Friday. Due to the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadasi, devotees from both the Telugu states and various parts of the country thronged the temple.

According to reports, there are serpentine queues as big as 4 kms stretch.
Devotees have been facing tough time even in getting accommodation as all the guest houses and complexes were fully occupied. However, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam issued a statement saying that it would provide dardhan of the Lord Venkateswara Swamy for more than 2.6 lakh people.
