Addressing a gathering in Chittoor district as part of his Praja Sankalpa yatra, which entered 46th day on Thursday, he said that the TDP government has failed on all fronts in providing minimum facilities to poorest of poor.

Earlier, the district leaders and cadre have welcomed their party chief on a grand note at Tamballapalli constituency in Yeddulavarikota near Anantapur border. On the way, differently-abled women Ramanamma met Jaganmohan Reddy at Yeddanvaripalli village and expressed her difficulties in getting pension. Under pension scheme, she is entitled to received Rs 1500 per month. But she has been receiving only Rs 1,000 from the government.

Ramanamma informed Jaganmohan Reddy that when she approached the TDP leaders for rectifying the issue, they threatened her for raising voice against TDP’s misgovernance. Jagan assured that he would fight for her cause and asked her to wait for one year, trusting the YSRCP.

On the way, the leaders erected hoardings and banners welcoming Jaganmohan Reddy. After the completion of five kilometres of padayatra, Jaganmohan Reddy went to Hyderabad to attend the CBI court’s hearing on Friday.

Earlier, Chittoor YSRCP leaders Peddy Reddy Ramachandra Reddy, Rajampeta MP P Mithun Reddy, state secretary Bhuman Karunakar Reddy, MLAs Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy, Narayana Swamy, Dr Sunil, RK Roja, Desai Tippa Reddy, Chinthala Ramachandra Reddy, district students’ union president Hari Prasad Reddy and Beerendra Varma have welcomed the YSRCP chief.
