Vizag a jewel in state’s crown
Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao said that the City of Destiny Visaskhapatnam is a jewel in the crown of Andhra Pradesh. The city was emerged as a role model to the other citiies in development, he pointed out. The Speaker inaugurated the flower show, arranged as a part of Visakha Utsav at VUDA Park on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sivaprasada Rao said that the tourism in Visakhapatnam is attracting the national and international tourists throughout the year. The tourist footfall is on the rise not only on special occasions but also every day.
After the Hudhud cyclone, everyone expressed their doubts about the reconstruction of the city. However, the government in a record time made the city into an international level city. For investments and employment sectors, Visakhapatnam is the most suitable place across the country, he added.
Minister for Marketing Adinarayana Reddy said that with the sincere and dedicated officers, Visakhapatnam has been developing in all fronts. The city would be developed into an IT Hub soon, he added.
Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that Visakha Utsav is a people’s festival. The state government is keen to develop the city into a best tourist centre. The arrangements in the utsav would attract all the walks of life, he added.
Later, the Minister paid a visit to the TU-142 Aircraft Museum and inaugurated the theme park. Later, the Minister witnessed the flight simulation. The Ministers also visited the various temple replicas, including Sampath Vinayagar, Isukakonda Sri Satyanarayana Swamy, Sri Kanakamahalakshmi, Sri Varahalakshmi Nrusimha Swamy, Anakapalle Nookambika and Vizianagaram Pyditalli Ammavaru.
