Houses for all eligible: Narayana
Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana said that the government will construct houses to eligible and urged the eligible to apply for houses. He went to Adavitakkellapadu in Guntur city on Friday and inspected the houses which were under construction for the poor under the PMAY.

He inspected construction quality and said that the government was using good quality material. He further stated that following the orders of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu they are using granite in the kitchen.
He further stated that the government will construct drains, lay roads and develop greenery besides providing water and power. He said so far the government received nine lakh applications for houses.
He said the aim of the government is to construct houses for all eligible by 2020. He said 6,600 houses were under construction in Guntur city, they will be handed over to the beneficiaries in February, 2018. GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha was also present.
