TDP hopeful of increase in Assembly constituencies
The Assembly Constituencies (ACs) in the State would be increased by 2019 general elections under the delimitation provisions in the AP Reorganisation Act, hoped TDP AP president K. Kala Venkata Rao.

YSRCP, Cong leaders join TDP
Welcoming the defecting leaders from YSRCP and Congress into TDP in Vijayawada at CM’s Camp Office on Saturday, he said that with more ACs the party would be able to give MLA tickets and other posts to the newly joined leaders.
Venkata Rao stated that there were positive signals from the central government over the delimitation of the Assembly Constituencies according to the provisions in the AP Reorganization Act.
N Narendra Yadav of YSRCP from Ichapuram in Srikakulam, MP Suresh of YSRCP from Kadapa joined the TDP along with their respective cadres.andVanka Nageswara Rao of Congress, contestant in 2014 from Palasa, also joined in the TDP.in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking at the occasion, Minister K.Atchannaidu observed that though YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was organising padayatra to retain party leaders and cadre in the party, it was not working. The Chief Minister directed the ministers and other leaders to explain about the developments taken place in the TDP government to the newly joining leaders from YSRCP and Congress.
