A 65-year-old woman charred to death when the house she was staying was gutted on Friday at Achanta Vemavaram village in Achanta mandal. According to police, Chakali Pydamma (65) was living alone in a thatched house after her husband passed away.
Eluru: A 65-year-old woman charred to death when the house she was staying was gutted on Friday at Achanta Vemavaram village in Achanta mandal. According to police, Chakali Pydamma (65) was living alone in a thatched house after her husband passed away.
On Thursday , she lit the kerosene lamp and slept. In the midnight, the flames surrounded the thatched house when the lamp fell accidentally. The villagers tried to control the flames, but in vain. Achanta police registered a case.
