Girl comes alive as parents prepare for final rites
In what appears to be a sheer negligence from doctors, a 7-year-old girl came alive after she was declared dead by doctors.
Vijayawada: In what appears to be a sheer negligence from doctors, a 7-year-old girl came alive after she was declared dead by doctors.
According to the police, the victim, who was identified as Sai Durga, was a native of Rajeshwaripet locality in Vijayawada city. She was rushed to Vijayawada government hospital after she had fallen sick a couple of days ago.
Following treatment, the doctors declared her dead on Friday evening. The staff has also issued a death certificate. Mourned by her death, her parents and relatives have started making arrangements to perform last rites. One of their relatives, noticed that Sai Durga was moving. The girl was again rushed to the hospital. The irate family members expressed anger against the medical staff for declaring their daughter dead.
Meanwhile, hospital superintendent Chakradar spoke to media persons saying that the confusion was caused only due to the parents misconceptions. He said an inquiry has been ordered into the matter and the private ambulance driver who brought the girl to the hospital had caused the confusion.
