Everyone had a major part to play in making it a grand success, he said in a review meeting with the officials concerned at his camp office here on Saturday. Satyanarayana said the Janmabhoomi would be held from Jan 2 to Jan 11.

He directed the officials to reach out to the people and explain the government’s welfare initiatives implemented in the last three-and-a-half years, and about the schemes the government would be taking up in the future. The Collector asked the officials to organise exhibitions at the district, mandal and village level on achievements of the government.

He informed the officials to ensure that the live speech of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was telecast every day through Mana Television, Fiber Connection or Facebook.

On the final day of Janmabhoomi on January 11, distribution of properties to the beneficiaries and certificates to the students who participated in the games would be held, the Collector stated.

Joint Collector Prasanna Venkatesh, Joint Collector-2 Rama Swamy, DRO Sasi Devi, CPO Anand Naik, Zilla Parishad CEO Eshwar and otherdistrict-level officers were
present.
