Director General of Police (DGP) N Sambasiva Rao formally inaugurated an Integrated Police Complex at I-town police station in Kavali on Saturday. The complex contains an executive suit, conference hall and a command control room for the convenience of investigating teams.

Nellore: Director General of Police (DGP) N Sambasiva Rao formally inaugurated an Integrated Police Complex at I-town police station in Kavali on Saturday. The complex contains an executive suit, conference hall and a command control room for the convenience of investigating teams.

The DGP appreciated efforts of the cops for reducing the crime rate this year significantly. He also mentioned tweet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who appreciated the efforts of the AP police.

In fact, Kavali town is going to have a total of 48 CCTV cameras in which 14 have already been installed in the vulnerable spots. Kavali police are also planning to introduce Locked Houses Monitoring System (LHMS) App shortly for prevention of thefts. Initially, officials are planning to start awareness campaign on the LHMS from January 1. District SP PHD Ramakrishna, and other senior police officials were present.
