Srikakulam: All villages, including habitations in hilly areas, would get road network by end of March 2018, said District Collector K Dhanunjaya Reddy.

Addressing a press conference, along with joint collector KVN Chakradhara Babu, ITDA project officer L Shiva Sankar at the Collectorate on Saturday, he said new roads were proposed for 124 villages in the agency area with Rs 52 crore estimation and completely damaged roads in 88 habitations in remote areas would be improved at an estimation of Rs 27 crore.

All the works would be completed by the end of March 2018. Talking about Vamsadhara project works, rehabilitation process and resettlement activities, the Collector assured to finish within six months. Displaced families would be provided all facilities on a war-footing basis.

Joint collector KVN Chakradhara Babu said that 75,000 complaints were resolved regarding land records under ‘Rythusevalo Revenue’ scheme.
