Special team formed to crack Farooq murder
The murder of Mohammed Farooq, who was working in Noorani mosque on Friday morning in the city, posed a challenge to urban police. Some miscreants murdered Farooq in the mosque, which created an uproar in the state.C

As this type of murder is the first of its kind in the state, the government took it as a serious case and directed the police boss to complete the investigation and nab the culprits.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also directed the police department to unravel the murder case without any delay. Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, Urban Superintendent of Police B Raja Kumari said a special police team was sent to Bhakahvada village (native village of Farooq) of Bhagalpur district in Bihar state.
The team enquires about Farooq and his contacts there and having any disputes with any others there. The police are also verifying footage of closed circuit cameras to get clues and some evidences were collected from the murder spot. The police are investigating the murder case in all angles. The top brass of department is supervising the investigation as this type of murder never happened in the city.
