Hyderabad: Rain occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra while dry weather prevailed across Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday, the Met department bulletin said.

According to the forecast, light rain is likely to occur at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on January 3. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.

The bulletin said there was an appreciable rise ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperatures at one or two places in the State. They were appreciably above normal by 3.1 to 5 degrees Celsius at many places in coastal districts and below normal at one or two places across Rayalaseema. The lowest minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jangamaheswarapuram.

The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Arogyavaram 15, Bapatla & Kadapa 17 each, Nandyal 18, Kalingapatnam, Nandigama, Anantapur, Kurnool & Tirupati 19 each, Vijayawada 20, Kakinada, Kavali, Machilipatnam, Narsapur, Ongole & Tuni 22 each, Nellore, Visakhapatnam & Visakhapatnam Airport 23 each.
