Kurnool: In a ghastly road accident, four people were killed and 10 others sustained severe injuries when a lorry rammed into an auto-rickshaw at Kotekal crossroads in Yemmiganur mandal on Tuesday. The deceased and injured are daily wage farm labourers and belong to various places in Yemmiganur mandal.
The cops led by Adoni DSP Prasad rushed to the accident spot and shifted the injured to government general hospital in Kurnool while the dead bodies shifted to government hospital in Yemmiganur for post-mortem. The police registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the lorry driver.
