Chief Whip flags off Janmabhoomi rally

Rajampet: Local MLA and Government Chief Whip Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy on Tuesday flagged off the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru rally here. Addressing the participants, he appealed to the people to make the fifth phase of Janmabhoomi programme from January 2 to 11 a grand success. Meanwhile, the Municipal Commissioner inaugurated the Janmabhoomi programme at Edigapalem elementary school and administered a pledge to the gathering. He read the Janmabhoomi message of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Reddy explained to the officials and the gathering the development works and welfare schemes being taken up by the government, including pensions, housing and distribution of house-sites.
