The Irrigation Lock Superintendents Association (ILSA), Amaravati released their New Year 2018 calendar in the presence of Krishna delta chief engineer, K Srinivas at his office here on Tuesday.
Vijayawada: The Irrigation Lock Superintendents Association (ILSA), Amaravati released their New Year 2018 calendar in the presence of Krishna delta chief engineer, K Srinivas at his office here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion ILSA state Chairman, VVLV Prasad said that they would fight to solve the pending issues and problems of lock superintendents.
ILSA state general secretary, B Prasad said that he would bring the problems to the notice of irrigation officers and get the grievances of lock superintendents resolved. He further said the lock superintendants were the bridge between the officers who release water to farmers and the farmers in monitoring the flow of water to the fields through the canals.
Krishna district deputy chief engineer, V Chandrashekar praised the lock superintendants for their crucial role in supplying water to the farmers in time as per government instructions. Other association leaders Sk Naseeruddin, SN Shankar Rao, DV Ramesh, Ch Murali and others were seen at the event.
