Job melas for SC/ST candidates on Jan 5, 6
SC/ST Commission Chairman Karem Shivaji has announced that two job melas will be held on January 5 and 6 exclusively for SC/ST unemployed youth, under the aegis of the commission in association with VIKASA.
Rajamahendravaram: SC/ST Commission Chairman Karem Shivaji has announced that two job melas will be held on January 5 and 6 exclusively for SC/ST unemployed youth, under the aegis of the commission in association with VIKASA.
On January 5, the job mela will be held at Adikavi Nannaya University campus in Rajamahendravaram and on January 6 on the premises of Prasidda Engineering College at Anathavaram.
Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said that about 40 companies from various fields were to take part in the job melas to provide employment to 1,000 members of the SC/ST community. The respective companies would train the selected candidates.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been particular to provide more jobs to the SC/ST unemployed youth in the state. The job fairs are also to be conducted across the state in a phased manner. Shivaji appealed to SC/ST unemployed youth to avail this opportunity to get jobs.
VIKASA project director, VN Rao advised the unemployed youth to bring their certificates along with two photographs for the interviews. VIKASA has the name of having generated employment to the unemployed in the district and conducting job melas in association with private companies.
