Eluru: Eluru MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) said that as many as 10,270 eligible people would be getting new ration cards in the district. Participating in the ‘Janmabhoomi-Ma Vooru’ programme at MRC Colony here on Tuesday, he said that welfare schemes of the government would be extended to the beneficiaries and as part of this programme, ration cards would be distributed during the Janmabhoomi.
Eluru MP said that Chandrababu Naidu was the only Chief Minister who implemented the welfare schemes of the government in the state. “Except Chandrababu Naidu, no other Chief Minister implemented such types of welfare schemes in any of their respective states,” he added. Eluru MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao (Bujji) said that 1,800 new eligible people in the city would get new pensions of which 120 people were at MRC Colony.
