A five-day workshop on the advanced KATIA commenced at Laki Reddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering here on Tuesday under the joint aegis of the mechanical and aerospace engineering departments. 

Mylavaram: A five-day workshop on the advanced KATIA commenced at Laki Reddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering here on Tuesday under the joint aegis of the mechanical and aerospace engineering departments.

Applications Engineer Dhana Sekhar and an employee of the Bangaluru-based GIT Vidhu Vinod said that the KATIA software is highly valued in the global market and the workshop would explain how the students having knowledge about the software could secure a wide range of jobs.

College principal Dr K Appa Rao said that the workshop would introduce new concepts to the students on one hand and on the other it would establish the fact that the LBRCE is an adept in organising such workshops.

Head of the department of mechanical engineering Dr S Pichchi Reddy, Aerospace engineering department head Dr P Lovaraju and students of BE final year engineering took part in the workshop.
