The Shilparamam Society is organising “Gandhi Shilp Bazar’ at Shilparamam in Tirupati for 10 days - from January 6 to 15. The aim of conducting the exhibition is to provide direct marketing platform to artisans and to avoid the role of middle men.
Tirupati: The Shilparamam Society is organising “Gandhi Shilp Bazar’ at Shilparamam in Tirupati for 10 days - from January 6 to 15. The aim of conducting the exhibition is to provide direct marketing platform to artisans and to avoid the role of middle men.
These Shilp Bazars were being organised all over the country and the participating crafts persons can feel the real needs and taste of the consumer and can orient the designs as per the market requirement, said Special Officer of Shilparamam B Jayaraj.
Speaking to the media, he said about 100 master craftsmen including Shilp Gurus, National Awardees, State Awardees and others will be participating with their crafts creations to showcase their traditional heritage of arts and crafts.
