Amaravati: Communications advisor to government Parakala Prabhakar on Thursday took serious note on YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy for crossing his limits and raising political issues at the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme.

Criticising the speech of Avinash Reddy, Parakala Prabhakar maintained that the political speech on the part of MP was inappropriate at the programme. Speaking to The Hans India on Thursday, he said that the JBMV is a government programme and attended by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. It was not a political meeting to make speeches, he added.

He substantiated the action of removing mike from the MP and maintained that when a member crossed his limits in the Assembly or Parliament, then the Speaker of the House would cut the mike, like that here also the authorities did.

Avinash Reddy participated in the government programme and took the advantage to propagate his political ideas, Parakala blamed. Later, in a press conference held at Secretariat, Parakala explained that there was tremendous response from the public for JBMV.

He added that ten issues have been identified in the ten days programme which was the new initiative of ongoing JBMV when compared with previous programmes. Through these themes, the resources of villages will be identified and will formulate plans according to the local areas, he added. He explained that majority of the grievances have been coming on housing, ration and pension schemes.
