AP Govt to sanction addl posts in power companies

South Central Railway (SCR) general manager Vinod Kumar Yadav said that Rajamahendravaram town railway station will be developed on all fronts to cater the needs of increasing number of passengers. At present, Rs 30 crore worth developmental works are in progress, he said.Â
Amaravati: AP Transco joint managing director Dinesh Paruchuri said that the state government would sanction additional posts in AP Transco, AP Genco and power distribution companies. Dinesh said the State Cabinet would approve the proposal on additional posts soon.
Speaking at a meeting in Vijayawada, he said the department submitted a proposal requesting for sanctioning of additional posts to relieve the employees from burden of extra work. He also said the state government was committed for the welfare of the electricity employees and taking steps for resolving their problems.
