Visakhapatnam: After two months of long struggle and multiple attempts for bail, the four police personnel, who were arrested by the ACB, Rajasthan, finally released from the jail after the Rajasthan High Court granted them bail on Friday.

The four police personnel including Inspector (crime) RVRK Choudhari, SIs Sk Sharif of Parawada police station and Gopal Rao of MR Peta police station, and constable of I-Town police station S Hari Prasad had gone to Jodhpur to arrest and recover the gold in connection with a dacoity case took place at Pothinamallayya Palem in the city.

However, they were arrested by ACB of Rajasthan state for demanding and accepting a bribe from the accused per sons to free them from the dacoity case. The AP police officials and relatives of the police personnel paid their best efforts to get the bail for the AP police.

However, the ACB court rejected their bail and they have approached the Rajasthan High Court. The High Court also rejected the bail petitions of the AP cops three times and granted the bail on Friday. Meanwhile, the sources say the four city police personnel will be suspended and they have to face departmental inquiry.
