Vijayawada: Pallavi (10) had created Champions Book of World Record by speaking on 60 various topics in 60 minutes uninterruptedly at the Press Club here on Saturday.

Champions Book of World Record founder Dr Turlapati Pattabhi Ram handed over the certificate and memento to Pallavi. The event was organised by Helping Hands to encourage the young girls and boys. The girl is studying V class in St John’s High School in the city.

The girl spoke on the topics of Navyandhra construction, government policy on liquor to generate revenue, humanity is more than caste and religion, infanticides, how to respect women and many others.

Dr Pattabhi Ram said many will win awards but very few will create records and Pallavi belongs to that category. Parents should identify talent in children and encourage them.
Businessman K Satyam said that Pallavi had made Vijayawada proud and brought glory to the award. He promised to sponsor her education till Class X.

Renowned musician P Gowrinath said the talented children should be encouraged as per their interest, everything cannot be achieved only with education and said that awareness should be created on social issues.

Social activist Nakka Veerabadhra Rao said that speaking on social issues at a young age is commendable and felt that Vijayawada will be proud of Pallavi.
