Judges offer prayers at Juttiga temple
Judge of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana justice Dr B Siva Shankara Rao, Justice Ch Dhanunjaya and Justice DRJV Sastry paid a visit to Lord Uma Vasuki Ravi Someswara Swamy temple at Juttiga village in Penumantra mandal on Saturday.
Achanta: Judge of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana justice Dr B Siva Shankara Rao, Justice Ch Dhanunjaya and Justice DRJV Sastry paid a visit to Lord Uma Vasuki Ravi Someswara Swamy temple at Juttiga village in Penumantra mandal on Saturday.
The Judges reached Juttiga village in the morning and had darshan of Lord Uma Vasuki Ravi Someswara Swamy. Later, they performed special abhishekham to the Lord and special prayers to Goddess.
They had nijaroopa darshanam of Lord Someswara Swamy at the temple. The Vedic priests gave blessings to High Court Judge Justice B Siva Shankar Rao on the occasion and temple executive officer K Srinivasa Raju offered ‘sesha vastram’ and prasadam of Lord Someswara.
The judge said: “I am very happy to conduct abhishekam to the Lord in the early hours of the day.” He appreciated the temple staff and the priests. Temple main priest Yagna Srinivasa Varma, vedic priest Phanindra Sarma explained the temple history to the judges.
