A 14-year-old boy Malladi Rahath made an attempt to create Guinness Book of World Records by singing songs in maximum number of languages at a concert. The event was held at a private function hall in the city on Saturday. 

Vijayawada: A 14-year-old boy Malladi Rahath made an attempt to create Guinness Book of World Records by singing songs in maximum number of languages at a concert. The event was held at a private function hall in the city on Saturday.

Malladi Anil kumar, father of the boy, said his son had passion for music and ability to adapt to different languages. He said he made a bid to create record from morning to night. Anil said that he was an anchor for Bol Baby Bol, played Shakuni role in Daana Veera Soora Karna. Representatives from Guinness Book of World Records will verify the attempt made by the singer and later enroll his name into the records.

Rahath also received Uttama Bala Ratna and Golden Child awards earlier for his achievement in singing. Rahath had attempted the record in the presence of management consultant and HRD trainer Dr MC Das, Dean of Academics Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Dr N Partha Sarathy and Easy Foreign Languages director Poolabala Venkat and others.
