Director of Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) Satya Vara Prasada Rao inaugurated the youth fest of Yuv Tarang-2K18 of Vignan Group of Engineering and Pharmacy Institutions, Duvvada, on Saturday. The management also conducted the graduation day.

As many as 1,500 students from all the three institutions were present for the graduation day. As a part of the event, three gold medals and 26 silver medals were presented to the toppers of the departments as well as the institute.
Speaking on the occasion, Satya Vara Prasad Rao motivated the students and asked them to dedicate their talent and skills to the nation building and develop interpersonal skills for the personal growth by not forgetting moral values.
Addressing the students, Director of RINL V Venu Gopal Rao explained current scenario in science and technology. Students need to develop skills on par with international students.
Chairman of Vignan Group Dr L Rathaiah thanked the parents for giving the institute an opportunity to shape the careers of their wards. He said Vignan always inculcates value- based education for national excellence.
